Having read Sentinels post correctly, I now see that my goal of building a rail system is basically being done by those far more qualified than me. To avoid embarrassment, I’m switching tact to building a port for steam ships as well as sail. I feel much safer knowing that the thing I’m working on is of little use to anyone but me and debatably not even to me
